High school junior Lea, like her BitterSweet group members, handles the demands of performing and her school, where you can find her singing in the choir and playing varsity softball add home and church commitments make things a bit overwhelming at times. But, After a long day of school, rehearsals and homework, I know GiGi and The BoyZ have my back. We’re often texting each other late into the night when our moms think we’re asleep!¯
Southern California native Lea Carranza began performing at age five. Whether performing as a solo artist or with BitterSweet, it is said that Lea touches the soul when she is on stage. Lea’s credits include acting in numerous films (with such personalities as Al Pacino, the late Brittany Murphy and Josh Brolin, among others) and on television in shows and national and international commercials. Lea also spends some of her time modeling, having walked the runway for several notable designers. But her favorite talent is singing. She has performed in some of our country’s top venues where she has been named the National Anthem Princess after winning a national radio contest.
BitterSweet has by far been one of her most favorable and memorable accomplishments. After several months of auditioning and making the cut life has not stood still. Since her commitment to the group she has been writing, singing and loving life with her new family, this is the greatest experience ever, I’m lovin life!
